Who we are

destbo labs is the data controller for this website and the Simo waitlist.

What we collect

If you join the waitlist, we collect what you type into the form: your first name, your email address, and — only if you choose to give them — your mobile number, your country, and the languages your household uses. We also record the date you signed up and that you gave consent.

We do not collect anything else. There is no account, no login, and no tracking of how you use this site.

Why we collect it, and our legal basis

We use these details for one purpose: to contact you about Simo's early access, and to understand who is interested so we can build the right product. Our legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given when you tick the box on the form.

You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing privacy@oursimo.com. Withdrawing it does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist entries for 24 months from the date you sign up, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first. If you become a Simo user before then, your details move to our customer records and are covered by a separate notice.

Who else handles your data

We use a small number of service providers, and they only process your data on our instructions:

• Supabase — stores the waitlist database. Hosted in Frankfurt, Germany.
• Vercel — hosts this website. Vercel is a US company and processes visitors' IP addresses in its server logs. This involves a transfer of data outside the EU, covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
• Cloudflare — provides DNS for oursimo.com and forwards email sent to our @oursimo.com addresses.
• Google — we currently load the fonts on this site from Google's servers, which means your IP address is visible to Google when the page loads. We also use Gmail for correspondence, so if you email us, Google processes that message.

Where your data is stored

The waitlist database is in Frankfurt, Germany. Some of the providers above are based outside the EU, as described.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising tools. We do not know who visits.

One technical exception: when you submit the waitlist form, the request goes to Supabase, and Supabase's network provider sets a short-lived cookie on its own domain to protect against automated abuse. It is not used to identify or track you.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the data we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete your data
• restrict or object to how we use it
• send your data to you or another provider in a portable format
• withdraw your consent

Email privacy@oursimo.com and we will action it. We do not charge for this, and we will respond within one month.

Automated decisions

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Children

The waitlist is for adults. Please do not submit details for anyone under 18.

Complaints

If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first — we would rather fix it. You also have the right to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency:

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
